A vest? Surely some mistake?

Not so, my doubting friend, we have indeed launched a new product in the fashion sector (sounds a bit more grand than 'we've designed a vest').

Our Gold Pineapple Vest Top comes in three sizes (S, M and L) and is made from 100% cotton.

On the front is Laura's pineapple motif in metiallic gold and we think it's really pretty cool.

We're very pleased with it and we hope you'll like it even half as much as we do.

You can buy it from our shop, from notonthehighstreet.com, etsy or, if you're in Australia, hardtofind

The Paper Plane Father’s Day Gift Guide 2015

Ok, full disclosure on this one, I am a dad.

I just wanted to get that out in the open, in case it looks like I’m somehow bigging up the role of a dad – something I have no interest in doing. I’m playing this one straight.

Dads are absolutely brilliant. They’re story-tellers, lift-providers, moral guardians, fashion heroes. And they’re better than mums.

But, like I said, I’m not here to bang on about how great dads are (we are great). I’m here to showcase some of our favourite Father’s Day gifts.

And of course, you’ll be needing a card – and that’s where we can help. You can find our cards in our online shop, or, if you have an Etsy account, you can visit our etsy shop, where you’ll find a card for every dad.

It's been a busy couple of weeks at Paper Plane HQ. Father's Day has taken off in a bigger way than we had expected, meaning we had to reorder a number of cards, we also had a delivery of brand new prints and cards (more on them below) and then there was the little issue of designing our first ever wholesale catalogue from scratch.

After many evenings trying to take product photos in fading light, and hours and hours getting the layout just right, the online catalogue was finished.

You can find it here and we'd love to know what you think!

We've just added two new cards and six new prints to our collection - and get this, five of those prints are available in both A4 and A3 options.

It's always a nervy thing, launching new products because you just don't know if they'll sell. We've launched cards in the past, to no great fanfare, yet they have gone on to be some of our biggest sellers, while other items we've been really pleased with have just failed to take off.

We don't yet have a printer of a high enough quality to print our products in our own home studio, so we rely on external printers to produce our cards and prints. That means that if we want to a try a new product we can't just run one off and see how it does - there's a minimum order - and the price per unit gets lower the more you order... you see the problem!

That's why launching new products is both exciting and scary. Thankfully, the feedback so far has been very positive, and the team at Etsy have added the Tropical Pineapple Print to their curated list of Gifts for Women, which is brilliant news.

We'd love to hear what you think - if you could own just one of our new prints, which would it be?
